The House of Rugs....and a giveaway!

I helped them get their hang tags created...
I had a FUN week last week with the girls over at The House of Rugs.(the lovely Tressa Jordan and Anne Chastain) They had a totally inspiring and awesome Interior Design Rug Show....what COULDN'T be fun about that!   Not only do they have the most beautiful hand-knotted rugs, but they have expanded into furniture and accessories.  And if THAT wasn't good enough, they are sharing space with two very talented local interior designers,  Sarah Roddey from Sarah Roddey Designs and Dial Kitchens from Dial Kitchens Interiors.   All of this talent put together was a sight for the interior lovers out there to see. They have ingeniously mixed old and new.  Some of the furniture and accessories are brand new, but others are old, refurbished, and fabulous!    Just my style!

It all started with a fun night out with Wine and Interiors on Wednesday evening (unfortunately, I did not get pictures of this, there were, um, shall we say technical difficulties!) And then they had a 2 day Show.  What was even MORE fun is that I got to help out on Friday...let's just say when they asked for help, I couldn't contain myself but to jump up and down and say "can I help, can I help, PALEAAASE!"

Here are some of the highlights, you won't be disappointed!  My favorite colors of orange and turquoise and green are sprinkled throughout the shop...what I call Interior Serendipity.

This is the view when you first enter the store...that wine table is AMAZING.
Just another view...isn't that rug great???
And then you turn your head AND
IS that an orange table I see???

I DIE!!!  Bungalow 5
What, what, there are 2!!!  Something to think about.  So much Eye candy, from the artwork on the walls to all of the accessories.
And then you turn the corner again and these lamps are just staring at you...pick me, pick me!

Who says cribs don't look fabulous with persian rugs????

And then....the Headboard.  They have joined forces with an upholsterer to offer custom headboards.
This is the Jacquelyn.  And Yes, it is orange paisley...LOVE!  Oh, and the bedding is Peacock Alley, and they will also be offering Serena and Lily!!! YAY!!!!
The Rug above was supposed to go in my kitchen, but, it was too short and too wide...sigh:(
Did I mention they had architectural peices???

Don't worry we are getting to the good part...

Take a look below...
do you notice anything fabulous??...
a really great idea....
a RUG on a table perhaps....

Who would have thought????  Might you be getting an urge to get yourself one of these cute little hand knotted rugs to put on your OWN bureau, coffee table or console???

All of the pieces in this post are so lovely! If I win the little rug I think I would layer it on a small ottoman that I have, the size would be perfect and cozy for my feet to rest on, but stylish of course:)

I can think of several places for the little "ruglette".

Shopping with you is an adventure -- I see more things in more ways than I ever would have by myself -- but I'm taking notes :-)
