Country Living is not one of my normal "go to" magazines, but when my mother-in-law left the October 2010 issue behind on a recent visit, I took a look. (not one to pass up any magazine, especially one that is free!) Anyway, I don't know if they have changed editors, but this issue was just chock full of great inspiration. I especially liked this article on a family in Vermont...maybe,
because my daughter has this same little sweater from Deux par Deux
and wears little braids just like their daughter.
and wears little braids just like their daughter.
or maybe because they INGENIOUSLY mixed this bright yellow with the swedish/french look.
do you notice that old stove in the corner...there is a really touching story that goes along with it. |
This Ikat sofa and chair are soooo great....AND green! |
Have a great Wednesday.

I am so with you. Liked this spread and another I saw made me think, 'THIS is Country Living...?' Who knew..?
I am really digging those warm colors. Not my got-to mag either, but when it's good, it's good.

Who knew Country Living had become such a great design magazine...love the photos!!
I occasionally buy Country Living. I do think they have changed direction a bit and they seem to be more modern than in years past.

Now that is a fresh look for Country Living! With all the shelter magazines closing, it's nice to see some of them getting a makeover!
